Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of QueueAway's queue management platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by QueueAway ("we," "our," or "us").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
The short version: Use QueueAway fairly and legally, pay your subscription on time, and don't do anything that could harm other users or our platform. We'll do our part to keep the Service running reliably.
Your Account
To access most features of QueueAway, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information
- Keep your login credentials confidential and secure
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You may use QueueAway only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable UK, EU, or international laws or regulations
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (spam)
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without written permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Use the Service to harm, threaten, or harass others
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these provisions, including suspending or terminating their account.
Subscription & Billing
QueueAway is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current subscription rate.
- Free Trial: Where offered, free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
- Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increases before they take effect.
All prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Intellectual Property
The Service and all of its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are owned by QueueAway and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share with us about the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.
Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to QueueAway ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and use Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Data does not infringe any third-party rights and complies with all applicable laws, including data protection legislation such as the UK GDPR.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QueueAway shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Important: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to QueueAway in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may do so by cancelling your account. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- You fail to pay any amounts due
- We are required to do so by law
- We reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export Your Data before termination; we will retain it for 30 days after termination before deletion, unless required by law to retain it longer.
Disputes & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@queueaway.co.uk so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service before they take effect.
